Christian Childhood development

Learning begins long before a child enters school.  At First Baptist's Child Development Center (CDC) and Emmanuel Preschool, we provide a learning environment rich with experiences that promote development needs of infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.


We want our children to feel loved, safe, and secure in a Christian atmosphere. We provide all-day developmental childcare Monday–Friday.


Due to the popularity of our facility, we have a waiting list, but we would welcome the opportunity for you to tour our facilities and discuss what we have to offer.

CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER

The mission of the Child Development Center is to provide an environment of Christian care, nurture, and witness to preschoolers and their parents during the workweek. We provide a clean, friendly, and safe Christian atmosphere and to allow children freedom to grow through play that reinforces learning. We strive to ensure that all children are given every opportunity to be Kindergarten-ready when they leave our program.  


We offer programming Monday–Friday from 6:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m. for ages 6 weeks to 5 years.

Emmanuel Preschool

Located on West Main Avenue, Emmanuel Preschool is a ministry of First Baptist and has been providing quality, Christian childcare since 1969.


We offer programming for children two years old through school-age students from Monday to Friday, 5:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.
