We are glad you are here! For over two centuries, First Baptist Church has been a lighthouse of the hope of Jesus Christ in this community, and that's what we are today. We want you here. We are glad that you are here. Whether you are our guest for the first time, a lifelong member, or anything in between, you can expect to be welcomed with the love of Christ.
An Expectant Environment
When we gather together to worship our Lord, we expect God to move. That expectation generates an excitement in the halls that is nearly palpable. We want to be here. We want to commune with Almighty God. We want to be with each other. We fully expect that God will move among us in such a way that people's lives will be eternally transformed by coming into contact with our Lord. First Baptist Church is an exciting place to be!
